The 4mm Thick Precision Machined Carbon Fiber top plate is much stronger and more ridged then the stock plastic top plate providing a more accurate brake feel and settings and lighter than aluminum. The top plate also features two 5x8x2.5 flanged Avid ball bearings for the brake cams to easily rotate and reduce any slop.
